A little about how I work

I'm a Computer Science senior at Minot State University, graduating May 2027, with internship experience in full-stack development and cloud-deployed microservices.

I gravitate toward the unglamorous half of software — race conditions, socket handling, schema design — the stuff that has to be correct or nothing built on top of it works.

Outside of code, I lead a residence hall team of Resident Assistants at Minot State, which turned out to be its own lesson in concurrency: a lot of competing priorities, one person routing them.

Where I've worked
MAY 2026
IT Operations Intern
Border States — Fargo, ND
Selected for Border States' summer internship program. Completed company onboarding and technical orientation across an enterprise IT environment.
MARCH 2025 — PRESENT
Residence Hall Director
Minot State University
Lead and coordinate a Resident Assistant team, managing competing priorities and time-sensitive incidents while driving follow-through on operational responsibilities for a university residence hall.
MARCH 2023 — AUGUST 2024
Research Assistant
Arizona State University — Tempe, AZ
Supported research workflows through structured data collection, analysis, documentation, and synthesis of findings for university research initiatives. Worked in an environment requiring accuracy, independent problem-solving, and clear communication of results.
Things I've built
Concurrent Client-Server Application
5 CLIENTS
A networked application supporting up to 5 simultaneous clients over TCP, with centralized state management, input validation, and synchronized shared state across every connected user.
C#TCP/IPConcurrency
Parallel Encryption System
95 / 100
Producer-consumer encryption built on shared 256-byte tables, synchronization primitives, and a thread-pool architecture for parallel processing. Verified deterministic encryption/decryption across 1- and 4-thread runs.
C / C#MultithreadingThread Pools
Residence Life Duty Management System
IN PROGRESS
A full-stack platform replacing manual residence-life logging — authentication, hall-specific permissions, role-based access, and centralized operational records, with relational schemas for halls, staff access, and permission roles.
PythonNext.jsSupabasePostgreSQL
Mac Voice Assistant & Desktop Automation
PERSONAL
A voice-driven automation layer for macOS that controls apps, searches files, sends messages, places calls, and runs natural-language desktop commands through AppleScript and external APIs.
PythonAppleScriptAPIs
Quick Commerce Sentiment Analysis
89.8% ACCURACY
Analyzed 4,620 customer reviews across Blinkit, JioMart, and Zepto, building a sentiment-classification workflow to compare customer feedback and service perception across quick-commerce platforms.
